I get this really sharp pain in my left upper thigh... it's soo intense that it makes me want to cry. Or chop off my leg... && i feel it every time I wake up && try to move into a different position... i rather not sleep sometimes because it's that bad.. this is how it feels all day everyday on the out side of my upper thigh it feels numb with a hot tiny sensation... but when I wake up to move my leg.. my upper thigh gets this unbearable leg like cramp... it gets hot && it just hurts sooo much... anyone else.?? Please... i asked my doctor he said it's normal... but it's getting worse... it wasn't this bad... when it started it just felt like a cramp... now it feels like someone stabbing me with a really hot knife then it tingles && it just hurts.. :,(

You're the one who said you had spd, right? I'm pretty sure this is part of spd because I've had it too and it's been getting worse the farther I am. Lately I've been trying to stretch that area out, which hurts like hell at first, but it relieves the pain for a little bit. I open my legs and if trying to do a split while laying down, which I can't btw, just that kind of tension there, and then release after about 10 seconds and repeat. I sometimes stretch also when laying on my right side and putting my left leg over a pillow and frontwards. Sorry if that description is difficult to understand. It's kind of like you are trying to lay on your stomach but you are still on your side. Also, when turning over in bed, I try to clench my legs together and then turn using my hips and it usually doesn't hurt as bad. Hopefully at least one of these helps you a bit. You're super close to delivering though so don't chop your leg off just yet, although that thought has crossed my mind before too lol =)
