7wks and have questions

I actually found out the I am actually 7 wks instead of 5 wks like I thought lol. Well I'm wondering how long before I am unable to sleep on my stomach? And I always feel as if I have to urinate. I always feel like my food will come up and I have strange cravings for things no one should eat. Like chalk and fingernail polish.

Pica is also a symptom of anemia, low blood cell count. I took care of someone a few years back who was pregnant and was actually eating chalk...all during delivery too. Avoid the urge, and try ice chips!!! :) good luck!

You have pica. That's from not getting enough nutrients. Take prenatals until you can see a dr. refrain from those cravings.

Talk to your ob-gyn about sleeping on the stomach.  It is not recommended later on in the pregnancy because of the pressure on the fetus.

you can sleep on your stomach the entire pregnancy. you may want to talk to your ob-gyn about pi-ca (cravings for unedibles)
