postive then negative

This morning i took a hpt and it was positive....i was so flustered that i went and got another one and now its say negative.i am going to take the other one tomorrow morning...am i pregnant or am i not..im so confused...please any input or thoughts are appreciated

I agree, take a test in the MORNING again, make sure your holding your urine for at least 4 hrs. And if your still worried about it, wait 2 days then take another test. try using different kinds.

I stand by EPT because I used Walmart brand up to the day AF was due and got BFN, then I used $store the day it was due, BFN, then EPT 2 days after AF was due, BFP!

Turns out that 2 days after that my levels were at exactly 50HCG, so I'm thinking the day I tested it was right around 25HCG.

I get my period every 31 days, yesterday I was on day 24.  I took a pregnancy test and got a faint line for a positive, later in the day took a digital and it was negitive, then again took a regular test and there was a faint line to make a positive.  I am confused

I would guve your self at least a few more days befor you try another early test. Those things are expensive (I KNOW) That way the results will be more accurate. I have also noticed in recent months of trying that you sometimes you see a line that isnt there or it if it sits too long a very faint pink line will appear, but you need to read your results in the time allowed:) Good luck!

i took it with this morning urine and put it on the counter and when i checked it i had a postive so i ran to the store and did one when i got home. I should be do for my period next week but i have been expericing pregnancy symptoms.

and as pregnancy pregresses(SP) Your leveals will rise giving you a positive if you are:)

I started taking tests about a week befor I was late and keep getting negitive results:( Than the morning of my missed period I took another one and had a faint positive! I was so excited I went and got another test and it was negitive:(  That was on Christmas Eve. Christmas day first thing in the morning I took another test and got a positive! I ended up taking about 7 tests just to make sure! Morning urine contains the highest amount of pregnancy hormones. How early are you and was your first positive done with your first morning urine? Sounds like my situation:)

False positive is unlikely but it does happen.  The digital test would be a better choice.  Just rememeber to use FMU.  If you just missed your period, the later urine you used might not have enough HCG in there to indicate a positive.  Good luck!
