sharp pain when walking

I am 34 weeks when I walk I get a horrible sharp pain in the vaginal area. It stops me in my tracks sometimes I scream and I can't move again until the pain has passed and then I have to walk lightly and slowly.  Does this happen to anyone else? Why is this happening? Should I go to the hosipital when it happens again?

I had this kind of pain w my last pregnancy...I would go on walks about everyday and wld have to stop and take a breath because it hurt so bad. I was about. Far along as u were if not farther. My dr told my it was from my pelvic bones spreadin and the babys pressure. But like the above poster said about the belts..I never did get one but heard they work real well..

My doctor said you can get this belt that help lift the weight off and support your back a little. I've been meaning to look into it. Worth a try.

Might be tmi but the sharp pain is in the clitoris. Would the nerves in the hips be causing that pain?

There are nervest that run through the hip bones and if baby pushes on one of these it is painful. It is not uncommon from what I understand, but call the Dr. if you are concerned.

I'm 25 weeks n I had horrible pains walking, moving in bed and at random times in my pelvic bone. Felt like I was kicked multiple times in the center of my bone. Went to doc n found out my pelvic bone was too relaxed, seperated, n rubbing against each other. Nothing can be done just have to take it easy. Never heard of this but guess its kinda common. Go see Ur doc n call tonight. Ur really far along, just to be safe
