postpartum

just a rant. I feel disgusting. so fat and ugly. I don't feel good ever about myself and it's to the point where I don't feel comfortable showing my husband certain parts of my body. I don't know why but do you have any advice on weight loss and toning your legs? I want to feel pretty again...

Ranting really helps though! This feeling I find is still there niggling at me when I look at my belly and stretch marks and irritation of the fact my metabolism will never be the same again! A year and a month later after the birth of my first one and am self conscious of my breasts especially.
Honestly, I'm not a keen fan of exercise. I tried yoga for three minutes and the next day, I was feeling it!! I did go to a few zumba classes- go with a friend; so much fun and even though surrounded by mirrors on all walls and the occasional hunky guy walk past the room- you just end up having such a laugh. You'll feel more like yourself again and want to be more open with hubby again, just all takes time. I find forums are great and if you have supportive friends/family around to confide in too. Ultimately, I wanted to just be honest with my partner as I know he loves me for who I am, stretch marks and all. I look at all of how I changed as,"Thats my daughter right there. And I love her so much"
