My mom told me summer isn't going to be fun(moving back to texas).  Is going to be hot, ill be uncomfortable, plus when you're pregnant you sweat more so imagine being in the summer heat. Looks like ill be going swimming a lot ha

Im in Arizona & its my first time being prego in the summer heat. I probably stay home in the A/c most of time unless im taking a swim and I have stretch marks from my sons but I will rock a two piece with a really light cover up. Stay cool and hydrated.

oh, I'll be wearing a two piece too!! already found a couple I love!!
I've heard to stay away from hot tubs, but not pools.
I can't swim anyway, so I'll just be relaxing in the shallow end, on the steps, just staying cool.. eating my watermelon & chugging water and/or my favorite slushy drinks!!! lol (((:

as far as clothes, I've found a lot of maxi dresses, maternity tanks/tees, and the ONLY shorts I've found that don't look like "grandma" shorts were at Burlington Coat Factory.. we don't have one around here, but I plan on ordering a couple pair at least to try online. they're only like $15..

if those don't work out, I'll just go to walmart and buy soffee shorts (those comfy cotton shorts).. actually.. I'll probably just do that anyway. 115 degrees is too hot to not be comfortable lol just my opinion!! oh, and I've got to get some sports bras!! ((((:

Wear what ever the hell you want! Lol but they do have cute mommy bathing suits to help you from getting belly burn. Listen as women we already have insecurities, we don't need to be concerned about no one's opinion while we are pregnant. Live it up! But stay classy lol

yeah, I think it's all in what you make it.. I live in SC and it's not uncommon for the heat index to get up to 110, 115 degrees during the summer, but we're all used to it! I mean.. you literally walk outside & it takes your breath away.

the only difference is I'll be a little bigger, hormonal etc. whatever..
I'll be wearing nothing but maxi dresses, drinking lots of water, eating lots of fruit (especially watermelon!), and relaxing in the pool!

just like @hazel413 said: I'm going to embrace it. hot or not, I'll be happy & looking fabulous doing it!!! good luck girl!! (((((:

I'm from Michigan and I work in a factory. When it's hot outside add another 20 degrees to it plus humidity waking around on cement floors for 8 hrs a night.... I'm not looking forward to being pregnant in the summer. We have people collapse every summer due to heat so I'm going my Dr doesn't want to risk it and takes me off work by the beginning of July.

My son was born in the early spring and I wish it had been summer instead so I could've gone swimming more than once before he arrived... feeling weightless when you feel so enormous would be so nice. All that pressure off your back and legs. Sounds heavenly.

Also weird isn't think I crave more fruit now that it's hotter.. Watermelons are great cause of the juice!

I'm in Florida.. Biggest thing drink a lot more water, if your going to be outside use sunscreen and reapply every hour a sunburn is bad for you and baby! Beach and pool are amazing at this time I'm 37weeks hate how hot it is but love how beautiful it is outside! But it honestly not that bad as everyone makes it out to be!
