Ill be 28 weeks tomorrow. I have a doctors appointment first thing tomorrow morning so I'm hoping they can do something or at least put my mind at ease.
Last pregnancy I had preterm labor and got put on bed rest. Call your dr to make sure u can work. I was only 25 weeks when it happened so if you are closer to your due date maybe it is not a big deal.
I had pre term labor last week they kept. Me for three days because I dialated to a 3. They only let me go home Sunday because I had an appt Tuesday when my dr checked my cervix it had thinned to 20% I was back in labor and delivery 3am Thursday morning they checked my cervix again and I was thinned 60% they told me no lifting and avoid stairs. How far along are you?
Lol I think I'm going to do that I just wanted to make sure I wasn't over reacting about not feeling comfortable going in tomorrow.
Yeah, because preterm labor can be caused from lifting, standing too long, etc. I would call in tomorrow and call your midwife, let her know you're not comfortable or at least ask for a not lifting/ take more breaks/ short shifts note, haha!
I am suppose to work tomorrow I was shocked she didn't take me off work at least for tomorrow
They didn't say of I was dehydrated but my urine came back good and so did my vaginal exam no infections.
I would definitely talk to your doctor, I could only work 4 hour shifts and sit inbetween (I was only a cashier) I wouldn't think you should be working, not for a while anyway.
I'm a nurse aide and I work 12 hour shifts it's alot of lifting pulling pushing and standing. I think I'm just worried cause they couldn't tell me why this happened in the first place
If she didn't tell you to stop working, you probably can..what kind of work do you do?? I would call and run it by her if you should work, but I went into preterm labor around 34 weeks and they stopped it, and I went back to work a few days later, and I never had an issue again til 40 weeks in labor! Were you dehydrated or have a UTI?
Do you stand and lift a lot at your job? Or do you mainly sit?
