Help!
If I'm not with the father and he's refusing to put his name on the birth certificate what do I do? Can I put it on there anyways and we take it to court?
He says he can charge me with fraud if I do is this true?

Just remember that if u get child support from him, he WILL have rights to your baby. Some states make couples split the time up 50/50 between parents. I'm not putting my child's father on the birth certificate or going after him for child support because I don't wanna share her with someone who isn't fit to be a father. That's just me :)
I have a 3 year old little girl and her father wants nothing to do with her and has never met her. He wasnt even in my state when I delivered so I didnt put him on ANY papers. I got government help and they ordered a dna test and once they proved it was his daughter they made him pay back child support from the day she was born.. the name on the birth certificate isnt what matters its the dna that does. It's not fraud if you put it on there. Fraud would be doing that in order to get child support, but knowing he wasn't the father. Just get a paternity test. If he refuses one, then go to court. You won't be in trouble for anything either way. Good luck
Nope. They will just do a paternity test and he will have to pay childsupport specially if he isn't seeing the child often or paying for anything. I would not her putting him on the birth certificate I would just make him take a paternity. You go through child support office.
Nope. But they will DNA test him first. But they will court order it. Then when the results come in they will put him on child support. On top of it file for full custody.

You don't have to put it on there. You should just take him to court for child support.

Why would you even want someone like that on the birth certificate. Your baby deserves way better.
