Yes you need at least 12-14 glasses of water a day. If your gonna drink soda make sure its NOT diet and that you monitor your caffeine intake. Also make sure you take a calcium supplement.
Yes. The baby doesn't need all that caffeine. the water helps you and also the baby. it'll help flush out your system better. if you're not drinking enough water you can get dehydrated.
U can get urinary track infection for drinking so much soda and hardly any water.. Try making some flavored water with fruits thats wat i do to still have water but flavored and its healthier than soda
Im not going to lie i never drank water only soda. My baby came out healthy, not saying thats always the case. Hes also really calm too, maybe the caffeine did opposite on him lol but you should atleast try and drink as much water as you can. I know next pregnancy i definitely will
You won't get a UTI from soda, you can get a UTI if you don't drink enough liquids in general because then what little urine you have in your bladder is remaining stagnant and bacteria can build up.
Thanks ladys , im a first time mommy and even before i got pregnant i never drank water only soda and its a pain to let go of soda lol , how can i do those flavor waters im going to try them ? Just want my baby to come out strong and healthy
If you drink a lot of soda you need to drink twice as much water, cuz soda is dehydrating. Water helps increase your blood volume, which is very important.
I have a uti that caused me to have contractions and put me in the er... They said caffeine and not enough water was a huge factor
Ive been really bad about soda this pregnancy it was the one thing I allowed myself to have that I considerd bad. I feel guilty about it but at this point im already 35 weeks and I told my dr and she says its not good and I shouldnt be doing it but my baby looks completely healthy.
