Yeah I asked her for it & she said sure. Some doctors prefer for you to be at least 1cm dilated & a bit effaced. I don't think there's any harm in bringing it up at your next appointment! Good luck ladies & I'll keep y'all updated ;)

I'm curious too. I'm 1-2 cm dilated and 60 % thinned out. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and wanted to ask my doctor for a sweep

Really? Did u ask for it? I'll be 38w+3d at my next apt and wanted to ask my doctor since I'm already 1cm and about 20% effaced

Got mine done today @ 38 weeks 3,days. I'm 3 cm dilated and fully effaced. Just need a little push to get labor started. Hopefully it works & I have him soon :)
