some serious and painful swelling!
34 weeks with my second son. I've had so many complications this time around. Now, for the last 4 days I've noticed swelling on only the right side of my vagina. Yesterday I sat and iced it all day and it really didn't help much at all. Today I can barely even sit down! It's just getting worse. It even hurts to use to use the bathroom just because I'm sitting up so straight, if I hover over the toilet I'm actually able to pee without all the throbbing. Any other moms experience this the further along you got?? Feedback please! Thanks in advance!

That's just the way I've dealt with swelling..I've never experienced light bleeding and being swollen I just figure it was because of sex
No I haven't had sex in a few weeks as it's been so uncomfortable this time around anyway. And wouldn't thrush be seen in a urine sample? I was at the hospital on Monday night for contractions and light bleeding. They took a urine sample then and said the sample was fine then gave me meds to stop the contractions. I've still has some contractions since then but also noticed the swelling that night and it's just gotten worse
Instead of icing try a wash cloth with warm warm water and lay it on there a couple times.. I've had some very uncomfortable swelling and my boyfriend would warm up water on the stove and run a small wash cloth through it, ring it out and have me set it on there.. Did you do anything beforehand that may have caused the swelling? I know one time I wasn't (sorry for tmi) completely "aroused" and after having sex with my boyfriend it swelled up a little
Same with my son , I'm Goin through more shyt with this pregnancy then my first pregnancy
Also I noticed the swelling is really hard when I touch it and even wash myself, should it be so hard??
