Changing hospitals ?

How far away do you ladies live from the hospital that you plan on giving birth at ? I used to live like 20 mins away from the hospital that I plan to give birth at but I moved a couple days ago & now I live like 1hr away. Should I register to a closer one just incase ?

I'm about 30 mins away from mine! Hope there's not bad traffic though, cause then it would take about an hour. My ob said it's not a problem though, because since this is my first she thinks I'll have a long labor.

I am about a 45 minute drive without traffic and if all the lights are green. Do what you feel comfortable with.

This!!! I live in a city where the hospital doesn't deliver babies so we all get sent in too the big city 40 mins away to deliver. But there's also a small town which is A LOT closer to me personally but because of where my family Dr is they won't let me see an obgyn there. So my husband and I are registered at one hospital but we know if I go into labor randomly I'll be delivering at another hospital. Its a common problem here Lol

You should register at the one that's closer if you can but if not they can't turn you away if something happens and you deliver there
