I found out with my 1st and 2nd. I waited until birth of my 3rd. I had 2 boys, really wanted a girl and spent half of my 2nd pregnancy upset I was having another boy, I thought if I waited, I knew I'd love him as soon as I saw him (as it worked out with my 2nd). A week ago today I delivered my baby girl and I was smiling war to ear when I heard my husband say it was a girl.
I would wait. We found out last time because my husband was supposed to be deployed when our 11st was born. But this time we are waiting. There's no other time in our life I'm going to get that moment of hearing my husband say it's a boy or it's a girl and then having him/her right there! The excitement! And we'll have plenty of time to decorate a nursery and get baby clothes after we know. Were having a "meet the baby" shower instead of before baby is born.
Well is is quite rare for them to get the gender wrong but unfortunately i was one of them that it was wrong with i was told i was having a son to my surprise i was having a daughter so with this one i payed to have a private gender scan or you could have it through a blood test x
I really don't know :( my way I looking at it is... Yes find out and you can get everything sorted but what if its wrong (very rare I know) i can just buy whites and creams. And two I think it will be a class surprise not known! As its my first child I really just dont know! :(
I paid to find out 4 weeks sooner than routine as I couldn't wait but I always though I would like to wait so then it's such a sweet surprise once there born.
I am too impatient not to find out. Plus I have older kids and I think it helps them to connect with the baby more
I fount out im having a little boy and my reason for finding out was i could prepare more for his arrival with regards to colour of things instead of doing it all after the baby is born you have it all there and i am just to impatient haha but just go with what ever feels right if your in doubt i wouldn't find out until you know for sure just incase good luck :) x
I would find out if I were you. I'm going to when the time comes. I want to know as much as I can about my little one. It's fun to learn!
