mucus plug or water breaking slowly

I am 38 weeks and 5 days. I'm sitting down and it started to feel like I was kinda peeing on my self. The thing is its like it will gush out then stop then it will do it again. Its in a clear light brown color but its mainly clear I don't know if it the mucus plug or my water is breaking slowly I don't know what to do

Its in between a light brown yellow and clear and its thick

If it was meconium it would be more of a dark green than brown. I had a tint of brown in my mucous plug. It is the consistency. Was it stringy a like snot? The brown it dried or dead blood.

If its brown at all and you suspect its your water check for the odor? But go in right away if brown the baby could get very sick if the baby pooped in utero and breathed it in its very very dangerous! I hope all is well and hope you and your baby are healthy
