Freaking Out!!!

Okay, so my friend told me that most girls lose their first child and it has me totally freaked out. Is it true that most women lose their first baby?

The first time I got pregnant, I had a full term beautiful baby girl, so that rumor isn't true. So don't worry about it :)

I have never heard that either. I know some of my "friends" have said some pretty rude things to me though since I've become pregnant.. sometimes people that aren't happy with their lives, are unable to be happy for someone else, even a close friend or family member, which is why I think she would say that.

I lost my first, my doctor told me it was COMMON for women to lose their first baby, but he didn't say that most women do.

Well I never heard of that but I did loose my first child so w/ this one its like I'm extra careful w/ everything but as I got further and further I'm more relaxed because I can feel him move and plus worrying causes stress and stress causes miscarriages don't stress hun its not a 100% chance of miscarriages I don't even think its 50%

That's silly, I'm 16 & 22 weeks pregnant with my first & my little girl is constantly kicking :)
Don't worry until your doctor gives you a reason to worry.

Ummm.. I have 3 babies nd 1 on the way.. I never lost mine nd even had a lot of complications.. so I would say that's not true.. 2 of my friends are pregnant with there firsts nd they are having a healthy wonderful pregnancy.. 3 other friends of mine gave birth to their first babies nd are pregnant with their second or third.. don't pay any mind to that.. a lot of people miscarry for various reasons.. its not cause it was their first baby but other reasons.. don't stress.. its not good for the lil one. Hope this helps.

No. I don't know why they would say that. Every pregnancy is different and the number of kids you've had doesn't ensure their survival. I'm currently holding onto my first born almost a week old. :-)
