The first time I got pregnant, I had a full term beautiful baby girl, so that rumor isn't true. So don't worry about it :)
I have never heard that either. I know some of my "friends" have said some pretty rude things to me though since I've become pregnant.. sometimes people that aren't happy with their lives, are unable to be happy for someone else, even a close friend or family member, which is why I think she would say that.
I have not ever heard such a statement. I am pregnant with my second and first was healthy.
I lost my first, my doctor told me it was COMMON for women to lose their first baby, but he didn't say that most women do.
Thanks everyone I'm gonna try to relax about it now thank you all for your help
wow. that's a terrible thing to say. especially to the ftms! i was freaking out in early pregnancy over everything cuz i was already soooo terrified that i might miscarry! and that was WITH all my friends and family being so supportive and encouraging.
needless to say, me nd baby are great(: this is my first pregnancy and i'm 20+5(:
Well I never heard of that but I did loose my first child so w/ this one its like I'm extra careful w/ everything but as I got further and further I'm more relaxed because I can feel him move and plus worrying causes stress and stress causes miscarriages don't stress hun its not a 100% chance of miscarriages I don't even think its 50%
That not always true but i did loose my 1st child i had a miscarage in April at 13 weeks it just happened the baby was healthy oneday n then i just started to spot n then da spotting turned into heavy bleeding
Losing a baby has nothing to do with whether its your first or not, shes been poorly informed lol.
That's silly, I'm 16 & 22 weeks pregnant with my first & my little girl is constantly kicking :)
Don't worry until your doctor gives you a reason to worry.
Thank you all I really don't know why she said that to me but it really freaked me out. I mean I tried for so long to get pregnant and thought of losing him or her broke my heart. Thank you all for setting me straight :)
I have heard that before but what i heard was that a lot of women miscarry there first without ever knowing they were pregnant to begin with there period just come extremely heavy and the mojority of women will never know that it even happened! I dont know if i believe that it sound pretty bizzare . Me!!!
I've heard the same exact thing from multiple people. Don't listen to your "friend".
I'm preg with #4 and so far 3 happy healthy babies. With #4 on her way. Your friend has been sadly Mis informed.
I'm pregnant with my first right now and I'm 38 weeks and already considered full term by my doctor. Baby is healthy and ready to make her entrance.
No that is not true. That is really rude for a "friend" to say. Im 25 weeks with my second!
Im 20 and about to be 15w. With my first i nevr heard of that dont listen
Your friend has been misinformed... don't worry
Ummm.. I have 3 babies nd 1 on the way.. I never lost mine nd even had a lot of complications.. so I would say that's not true.. 2 of my friends are pregnant with there firsts nd they are having a healthy wonderful pregnancy.. 3 other friends of mine gave birth to their first babies nd are pregnant with their second or third.. don't pay any mind to that.. a lot of people miscarry for various reasons.. its not cause it was their first baby but other reasons.. don't stress.. its not good for the lil one. Hope this helps.
No. I don't know why they would say that. Every pregnancy is different and the number of kids you've had doesn't ensure their survival. I'm currently holding onto my first born almost a week old. :-)
What? I never heard such a thing this is my first pregnancy ever and I'm 28 weeks now. That was dumb don't worry about it. Just stay healthy and don't do too much your first trimester.
I only know 1 person who lost their first baby. She shouldn't have said that to you ever....that's just cruel us pg ladies freak out enough in our own
