I dont like my doctor..

Recently moved to Montana. Didn't know any of the ob doctors here, so they put me in the care of of "Dr. Kelly". I'm her first pregnant patient, she's new to obstetrics. Today was my 2nd appointment. For about 15 minutes she was having troubles even working her computer.. then she took my babies heartbeat, told me it was faster than it should be, then that was it, scheduled me for another check up next month. That's literally ALL that happened. You can't just tell me my baby has a heartbeat way faster than it should be then tell me to leave!
To make matters worse I told my baby's father and he didn't seem to care at all!
Okay.. rant over..

I am from Florida, but moved to Kentucky, I dont know anything about the OBs here either, but what I did was look online. I got all the names of the OBs in my area, and looked them up on google. It has previews, concerns from others as well as praises. If you arent sure, look online. Safest way to get to know things you wont otherwise know. I saw onr person, didnt mind him, but read a lot about him online I did not like nor was comfortable with about him, so I switched and I love him!!

I dont know how it works there, but call whomever you choose, take a tour, meet the people abd the Dr. and make an appointment. Let them know you had an appointment with this person and did not like how you were treated and you werent comfortable, they should make you an appointment before or around the same date as your next appointment.

If you're unhappy, change obstetricians. The earlier, the better. Congrats on your baby.
