shots!

I'm 32 weeks and 3 days. I have got my flu and tdap(whooping cough or w e)  shots.  My boyfriend and I were both told we have to get and as of now we are staying at his parents (which includes:his mom, dad, sister and grandmother.) until we get our own place. The doctor said everyone in the house should get the tdap also.. but for some reason they are being so immature about going down the street to walgreens and getting them even tho its for the baby. How big of a deal is it if they don't because I feel like they won't..help

I didn't get the flu shot cause there is really no point in it but I did get the tdap. Whooping cough has made a huge cone back and it is important that you get the shot. Your baby can't get it until 2 or 3 mths old.  If your baby gets the whooping cough before they get the vax there is a high chance of death in the infant.  I was told that anyone that was going to be aroubd the baby on a regular basis needed to get it to protect the baby.

Depends on where your from. Whooping cough is going around in Texas. The way I see it is is it really worth the risk of not getting it. It's just a friggin shot.

I don't think it's much of a big deal. I didn't even get the shot when I had my daughter, and I had her the endings of November. No one else in the house did either and she never got sick. I'm sure your baby will be fine.
