How fast can contractions progress? At 350 am they were 12 min apart. Not at 5 am they are 6 min apart. Can they progress that fast or am I timing them wrong.

If they're starting to get consistent then go ahead and call ur ob and let them know ur on ur way.

My water hasn't broke and they are starting to get consistent of about 6 min apart

My water broke at 3:30am Thanksgiving day at 6am my daughter was born so it can happen fast

When they are consistent at 5 minutes apart or less. Unless you have like an hour long drive to get there, then I'd probably leave a bit earlier. Call your OB and let them know your status now, and then call again when you're on your way, so they know to expect you.

yep :) contractions can be quite random sometimes :)

Is it normal for them to sometimes be 5min apart then one be about 10min apart then go back down to 5? Like they all aren't 5min apart exactly

they can progress that fast :) mine started at 15 mins apart within an hour they had gotten down to 3 mins apart :)
