Is it safe to eat raw shrimp? Because I like to make homemade salsa and we just usually defrost the shrimp then throw it in the salsa. Is it safe?

Are you sure it's raw?  Because you can buy frozen pre-cooked shrimp.

I can't imagine eating raw shrimp - it smells like a baithouse,  and it's got that "vein" (colon) that is full of bacteria.

Shrimp cooked is fine.. but No uncooked

You can eat it once in a while but you can't eat it raw it will have to be cooked
