Try to avoid hot food! The smells bothered me sooo much during my first tirmester to the point where'd I'd vomit. Try to stay hydrated and for the first trimester your calorie intake doesn't have to be high at all. Just take your prenatals and you should be fine :)
Drink plenty of fluids! Try Gatorade but make sure your still drinking water. I couldn't be around any food with smell. If you get hungry eat small frequent bland meals.
