Membrane sweep
Got a membrane sweep done today! Fingers crossed it works and I get to meet my baby girl soon :) Due in 2 days, hopefully she decides it's time :)
For those of you who have had it done, did it work? And how long after did you go into labour?

I had a sweep last Saturday and didn't work because my cervix was to far up and thick. So I have another tomorrow morning n hopefully it has come down and softened. If not I get Induced on Tuesday. I'm now 6 days overdue :/ really wanna meet my baby girl
I had a partial sweep done and a little over 48hrs later I went into hard labor. Not sure if the sweep was the reason since I'd been on pitocin for 40+hrs but maybe it did something. Hope it works for you!
Oh, sometimes called a 'strip and stretch' or 'stretch and sweep'. It's just where they put their fingers in your vag to separate the membrane from the cervix to let your body know its ready to start labour. Meant to work 24-48 hours later supposedly so hopefully it does :)
