I delivered on hands and knees...hadn't planned to be in any certain position, except I knew I didn't want to be on my back. Just have a couple options and go with what feels right at the time. Natural is tough but definitely doable and so worth it!
I did all natural and tried hands and knees, on side, but in the end on my back knees to chest was the best because it regulated baby's heart rate. All were painful, you just have to go with what works.
I tried squatting with the bar, and all fours but in the end I delivered on my back. If ur going natural like I did then no position helps more than the other. They are all painful.
It can be. I was induced so the pain pain was horrid. I didn't get an epidural I got an IV drug don't know what its called but I don't recommend them. I slept for two hours but felt everything and I was so loopy that I freaked out and panicked. And my son was all drugged for two days. It was awful. So not worth it. And so this time no drugs for me.
Is it really painful going it natural? It's my 1st baby..
I'll be doing different positions I don't know which one. Most likely squatting because the hospital has the bar and my bf can actually sit behind me and hold me which just sound like an amazing experience for us both. But I'll be trying whatever is comfy for me. I'll be going natural. I'll also be bringing my birthing ball.
Squatting is better but you have to go it neural Hun .. Signed a Materity nurse
