Its happening to me really bad till th point of crying I feel like critters are on me. Dr did two blood tests and nothing. Just taking benadryl to calm the itch.
What are your symptoms for it?
Yeah I'm trying not to stress out, I also have GD so I have a lot going on with that now also. It's all just me over reacting most likely your making me feel so much better :)
Happen to me i have cholestasis so im being induce tomorrow
I would scratch until I bleed in some places, but I don't have it so that makes things look better for you. :) I wouldn't worry too much. Just wait for your results. It's actually really uncommon so your chances are pretty low. If by chance you do have it they will monitor you closely & induce you at 37 weeks.
My itching isn't that bad, but it's pretty bad I'll itch one spot then That spot will be so itchy and I'll sit there and itch it and itch and itch.
REALLY bad. Like I wanted to rip my skin off. It was worse around 30-33 weeks so your right there. It would bother me all day but it would become SEVERE at night time. My hands, feet, face, inside my thighs. I would get up at like 3-4am just to get into the herb bath tub.
@valarie21 what was your itching like?
I also heard gallstones could cause it. My sister sent through that. I don't have a gallbladder in my case though so i know that's not why im so itchy.
*Keep us updated!
I heard pups usually only happens when you're pregnant with a boy, but it isn't add bad add choleostasis. I was thirty weeks when I got my blood tests because I was itchy everywhere. Ended up being gallstones.
Could it be PUPS? I've seen it on a few women and hear its quite uncomfortable but nothing to be too scared about. Let's hope its nothing serious. Good luck!
I also had to get tested because my doctor thought I had cholestasis. Took about a week to get my blood test back & my bile results were normal enough so he ruled it out thank God. I still have the itching but there isn't an explanation for it so I take oatmeal baths & keep my skin very hydrated. Not that it really helps lol but I will pray you do not have cholestasis. It's a very serious diese.
