thinking ahead....

Is anyone else thinking ahead and started saving up for while off of work for maternity leave we started saving money so that we are not stressed over how we will buy things while I'm off work so that we can just set back and enjoy the time we will have with our new baby and our oldest son (who is only 2 but Bragg's about being a big brother while at daycare lol ) anyone else have kids that close together?

I did save up with my 1st. I work a commission job so no maternity leave. This pregnancy that was the plan, but went on bed rest unexpectedly.

My husband does our finances and he prepared us for me to be off work for a while. And he started saving right away. And I have kids close in age I have a 1 year old and just had my other girl last week. They are a year and 11 days apart

Well your smart lol! We have a 1.5year old and one due in a month, with our first we had no income so went into debt with my parents and they got everything now we have some money were paying them back and I have been thinking about buying baby everything untill I realised last week she will be here next month and we havent goten the extra things we need so now wer so tight on money but we will be fine once shes here. Its hard getting organised you think u have so much time then bam they are here, good plan you got going on though, im proud of you, really I should have been more prepared  -_-

Yes! We started buying baby stuff as soon as we found out we were expecting so we wouldn't have to stress bout getting everything we need at once before our girls arrival. We've also been living off of one income (hubby's of course) to prepare us for the big change when I go onto maternity leave. Instead of 2 incomes for 2 people we are preparing for 1 income for 3. We've been saving my income just in case :) We like to be prepared! Our baby girl with be here in 8 days or less! :)

I tried to find a job that would allow me to work while at home with my boys but in had not luck I hate leaving my son to go to work  it makes me  want to cry :( but we all do what we have to in order to give our children the beat life we can... Nice job lady's I thought I was the only one lol
