threw up my test -.-

So i took my glucose test today.. It tasted strong, but not that bad in my opinion.  The lady told me i could wait at home so i came back home and started feeling funny. Tried to lay down and then baby boy started kicking and punching like crazy. I guess the sugar woke him up. I tried my best to hold it down, but i just couldn't.. Now i gotta do it again -.- and as soon  as it came back up, my little guy went to sleep. I think he was just trying to get it out of me lol but do you wonderful ladies have any tips to keep it down next time? Thanks!

Just dont go home next time stay and keep really cool thats the only thing that keeps me from being sick and my doctor wouldn't let me leave apparently it can have some side effects

I have to take mine on Wednesday im alil nervous but I hope I can keep it down..

I did my test and it didn't taste nasty. It actually.taste like a sugary cold orange juice.

I ate before I went and didnt have a problem with it.

II cried n just took deep breaths n called my bf to keep me calm lol

Yeah i had to fast the night before as well and when i drank it she told me i couldnt have anything to eat or drink, not even water

I was scared of throwing & they told me I couldn't eat drink, or chew anything for an hour while I wait for them to take my blood I forced myself to keep if down, :(

I had to fast for mine so it was very upsetting on my emptied stomach. The nurse gave me ice chips and it helps to chew on it when you feel sick. Most people would not enjoy drinking that much sugar at once. And make sure you don't fall asleep while waiting in between blood drawings. Because when you sleep, your metabolism slows down which could contaminate with the results.

Oh wow I never had that problem. With both of my kids they didn't move or anything when I drank it. Hmm I would ask your doctor if they have any tips to how to keep it down?
