Yeah, its definitely not black. It should really only be a few shades darker then your actual skin tone.

I don't have the line but my belly button has popped out!

I had one with my first pregnancy... but not with my second.. Though my belly button popped out with my second but not with my first, lol.. Now I'm pregnant with my third, and I'm waiting to see what this one is going to do.. probably neither, lol

Its a brown line, not black. I have a veeeeery faint line. can hardly see it, but the hair line is starting so it makes up for it. Ha! It started to show at 14 weeks for me. Every pregnancy is different. My mom, Grandma, Cousins, Aunts, never had the lina negra thing. I'm the first one. I forget its there and when i go to shower i try to wash it off wondering "how the heck did i get dirt on my belly?!"

It's normal. Like another poster said every pregnancy is diffrent. I'm due next Sunday, never got the line, my belly button never popped, and I've only gained 15lbs. I didn't get a huge belly or swelling. Most of the "common" pregnancy things skipped me.

I've never gotten the line or a hairy belly or my belly button popping out some of us don't get it.  This is my third baby

My mom didn't have one with any of her pregnancies. I got it and I was like wth is this? Lol some people just don't get one

I have it very lightly and it's not even straight lol. it's curved but it's all gravy. ha.

I don't even have that big pregnancy belly.. I was so excited that I was going to have this big belly when I got pregnant.. Nope, I look the same.. I gained 30lbs at week 30 then another 15 lbs by 40w..and still no big belly.. I just look chunky..you'll learn every pregnancy is different to different people.. You may have no complications this time around but next you actually have symptoms.. So, if you're looking forward to the line maybe you'll get it this pregnancy, maybe you'll get it next.. Or maybe not at all

I'm on my fourth pregnancy and I've not gotten the line with any of them. Some women just don't get it.

I don't have it either, :-) a little extra hair there, but it's not black.

Oh.. Not all ladies get it.. I don't have a line or a belly button that pops out..
