really ? what to do

ok so my dad's ex gf(they dated from august'12-october'12 she got pregnant sometime on october), she just had her baby boy.. well she also has a 10 month old that is another mans, and a 5 year old that's another mans, a 12 year old from a different man and a 15 year old from a different man. he had a DNA test done because she already has 4 kids from different men, and she lives 4 hours away.(she didn't tell him she was pregnant or about any of her kids besides the 10 month old, when they met in august last year). When he found out she had 4 other kids, he rethought his situation and didn't want to be with her. That's understandable to me because he already has me and my 3 brothers, that would give him 8 kids to take care of.. well she didn't tell him she was pregnant with his child until march(so she was already 5/6 months). She told him the baby was his and she wanted him to come to the doctor appointments with her and be apart of the babys life, well he went to all doctor appointments and ultrasounds but he met this new woman about 3 months ago(she's said shes fine with the baby) well the baby was born last week so my dad drove up for labor and delivery, well his ex asked if her and the baby could come down for a couple days and he said yes(he made up the spare room for her), well when she got there she said she wanted to sleep in his room because it was to uncomfortable in the spare.. he said ok and that he would sleep in the spare, well when it was time to go to bed she went in their with him and I heard him tell her she needed to pick which room because he wasn't sleeping with her. she proceeded to flip out and she slung the flat screen breaking it, and said she was leaving and to forget ever seeing her son again. so I went out there and she was literally breaking things while packing and she kept saying how he wouldn't see his son and that she was moving back up to mass. When she left he like broke down cause he wants to see his son, and my mom is mine and my brothers mom so he's never went threw this when they divorced they just split custody they live 15 min from each other.. idk what to tell him, I know he can file for custody so she at least cant leave NC, but most all the laws go towards the mother unless something is wrong with her.. since the baby is only a week old how often is she required to let him see him? like she already has her lawyer sending child support papers, what is his rights to the baby ? and being she's 4 hours away does this change anything?

Actually because she acted like this and put him and the child in danger he can file for an EPO and it will give him temporary custody until the court date (14 days) and then the judge and social services will be able to decide what to do with the mother and baby at court. By this time he can get a lawyer and file all necessary paperwork for custody/visitation while keeping her in the state. He might even get full custody if she has a criminal history and that will force her to pay him child support. If he doesn't make alot of money he might be able to use legal aid. Otherwise he will need to find a good lawyer.

I know here in Texas if the mom wants to keep the baby away from the dad shr can until custody/child support has been established but it will take a lawyer to get the baby. If the dad is on the birth certificate he can get the baby anf keep it from her. I would call a custody lawyer in your area. Explain the situation and ask what to do next. I wouldve taken pics of all of the broken items and I would def contact the attorney general to see what to do next.

Call the police and talk to someone about options he has and let them know that she wants to move out of state with the child without the consent of your dad

Yea he signed it too.. that's how she filled for child support so quick and I'm from nc

Is his name on the birth cert?? Again, here in Florida you can get the cops involved and tell them that she's refusing to let him see his son and they normally arrange a way for you to see the kid. My hubby was going to have to do it with one of his kids from one of his psycho exes... -____-

That *****, sorry you guys are in that situation. Some woman are so selfish and use their children as blackmail to get what they want, and sadly its usually their children that suffer for it in the long run.

Yea..she made it clear the other day that of they weren't together then he wouldn't see the baby -.- its so annoying he shouldnt have to pay child support unless he gets too see the baby.. she's such a *****, she wont work and she lives off child support from her kids

Sorry not exactly sure about that. But I am pretty sure, unfortunately, that nothing  can be done until they start the court process. Unless the mom decided to let him see the child before that, but highly unlikely with everything you have said about her and the situation.

But until a judge decides, can he see the baby before?

I know in Florida that if you call the police and tell them that a mother of one of your children is trying to remove them from the state, they won't allow it.. not sure about where you live but your dad could call and find out

He can take her to court for visitation/joint custody. If the judge deems him a fit parent then he should have no problem with that, regardless of how far away she is. Especially if she has him paying child support. Fathers have just as much parental rights as mothers asking as they are fit parents
