36+2 weeks pregnant and had a dr appt today and am still 0% effaced and not dilated! Ugh i am so ready to have baby girl already and im so tired of being pregnant!

I know exactly how you feel I'm 37 weeks and I'm upset that I haven't dilated or anything :/ I was hopeing to give birth around 38 weeks cause I just want my son out now haha

Haha this websites weird and yes I'm just completely miserable all the time and plus its summer and I just want to have my old body back. I know I only have three weeks left (if everything goes right) but it seems so far away.and my doctors the type that won't induce you till your like 2 weeks over so at this point its hard to stay positive about being pregnant. But just keep your eye on the prize and hopefully time will fly by :) good luck

Well i know i wont have to go past 39 weeks at least thats lucky for me cuz my dr will let me be induced as soon as im 39 weeks if i dont have her before then and good luck to you as well!

I'm 38+4 and haven't even been checked for dilation, I am due in 10 days, I hope baby comes soon !!

I'm 37+3 and had an appt today my midwife did a cervical check and I'm only a fingertip open. I'm disappointed and was hoping for better news. Especially since I was put on bed rest at 27 weeks with a funneling cervix I for sure thought I would have been dilated a lot more. I'm so ready to have my son and be done with this pregnancy also

Don't let it get you too upset.  I was the centimeters dialed for about a month with my first, and pretty far effaced, and still she was a week late.  My second I was 5 centimeters since 38 weeks, pretty far effaced, and he was still 9 days late.  With my third at 39 weeks I wasnt even a centimeter, something like 15 percent effaced, and she came 2 days later a day before she was due.  This time I won't even bother having them check, its not a very accurate way to tell when baby is coming, and does nothing but mess with my emotions.

im 36w2d aswell.. i havent been checked how far dilated i am "/ am i suppose to? n im rigjt unsire about my midwife cz she seems rigjt clumsy n dopey and she arranged to do a home assement on wednesday n she forgot about me "/ n now coming monday so im a bit wary about her if she nose what she actually doing "/ n she has told me i could very possably be early "/ is she allowed to say that? xx

She sounds a little dumb and yeah she can say it that doesnt mean its true though and as far as being checked at 36 weeks every dr/midwife and hospital is different :)
