I had an emergency one with my first, this time round they told me i will be brought in at 38weeks (in 3.5weeks time) to have a section. The fact u know it might be happening is half the battle. Its honestly not that daunting.just read up plenty of info about it. U are sore and limited for a good few wks after but u will get thru it.u will be able to take proper pain relief and u will only be restricted from bending down, reaching up and driving for a few wks.its all worth it once u have ur baby in ur arms. Also its an amazing feeling the second they lift the baby out of ur stomach, u feel so light and such a relief.also the heartburn disappears straight away too. It will all be worth it dont worry. I was almost jumping joy when they told me they wud bring me in at 38wks to section me. Ive had an awful pregnancy, on crutches and bed rest so at this stage i dont care how they deliver her i just want her out now and in my arms. Best of luck, all will work out for the best!
I had a c section with my first an I will be having another one in oct. The process of a c section is quick an easy from start to finish maybe 30 minutes an I remember almost all of it the anesthesiologist Gave the morphine in little doses so I would remember seeing my daughter for the first time. The first few days for me were pretty awful when I would get up an walk but by the time I got home if you take it easy an don't over do it you'll be fine
I didn't have one with my first but the thought of a c section scares the hell outta me! I'm wondering the same
