hi ladies jst to keep u all posted i had the sweep on tuesday and it didnt wrk. but iv been bookd into hospital 4 this sunday to b induced. so the latest i wil av my baby wil b monday max. cant wait bt i am a little nervous bout bein induced. does it hurt?

wow thanks 4 ur replies. i petrified of needles so i wnt b avin epidural lol. a sweep is wher the midwife sweeps her finger inside u to try n seperate the membrane to try n get u 2 go in2 labour. wel sumthin like that i fink.il keep u postd tho thanks again.

I was induced and had a great experience despite having intense back labour and needing an epidural.  I wouldn't change anything about it - DS was born happy and alert without any complications (I only had to push for 25-30 minutes, and even though I was numb from the waist down, I could still do it without any problem.

good luck, i am also over due! and getting impatient! but still no talk about inducing yet 40+3 with my first.
