waste of money?

Ok so i felt i should do this for the ftm.. So for us that are not ftm can you name some things that you felt were a complete waste of money to buy for your previous babies?

Baby shoes, diaper pail, the sash thing you carry baby in, diaper warmer, tons of bottles, baby bath tub(as newborn newborn I used it but after bout 2 months I'd fill the tub lay a towel down and put baby on it) baby food/bottle warmer, snow suit, evenflo carseats! Hated the base! Got another new one 2 weeks after baby was born. Switched to graco

Wipes warmer, it made the wipes dry out faster, diaper pail and reuse able breast pads if you breast feed. The disposable ones cost a bit, but work much better.

I'd have to say the travel system was a waste for me. I know it sounds crazy, although it was really nice ( chicco), it was just too big. The stroller took up so much room. This time I just bought the new chicco echo, its a deluxe umbrella stroller, it reclined & lightweight. Perfect for my 3 yr old & my new baby due in may.. highly recommend..$99

Bassinet- baby can't sleep in it long so you might as well save the money to go twards a convertible crib that your baby can use for years!

The bouncer was a waste for us, hardly used it and she grew outta it mega quick

I'm a ftm but I've watched many many babies in my lifetime and I believe changing tables are a waste. I never used them, just plopped baby on the bed or on a towel on the floor for the really messy ones!

in my case the stroller was my only waste where i live there isn't any where to use it but it came wit a car seat so that's how i ended up with it.

I agree about Baby shoes and swaddlers. An under the armpit thermometer, those don't work get an ear one. In my opinion, the shopping cart liners, because when their little id bring the carrier in and hook it. The diaper genie is actually pretty gross having all those dirty diapers in the house. I loved the boppy pillow tho.

Baby shoes before a year old! I had loads of shoes for my baby but never managed to use them because by time u try them on to let baby wear them baby's feet grown quick lol

Diaper genie. High chair. Non converting crib. A ton of newborn clothes or pampers. They don't stay that small for long at all. A ton of bottles till u know what one the baby likes. Size0 shoes.

I had twins used the diaper pail for maybe a month, wipe warmer, the swaddler blankets (receiving blankets were better!), a ton of the same brand of bottle just cause you like it doesn't mean baby will, I never used my boppy nursing pillow... Thats all I can think of right now

Diaper pail,  stroller with small wheels since we used or jogging one for everything, and a huge high high chair.  We used a portable/folding one that was way cheaper.  I loved it wipe warmer! Especially since we had our son circumcised.  We put the medicine in there so it was warm and easy to spread. Also loved my boppy for feeding.

I'm a ftm but I was told diaper pails where a waste of money !! I still brought one though and have every intention on using it !
