I want to hear your storys in how you went into labor or what you do to start it and how the expariance went im a ftm so i dont know what to expect :)

If i was in that much pain and they sent me back that meny times i would of been of the walls. After al that pain it seems like he came pretty fast

Oh yea i was 38 weeks and 6 days.

I Started having contractions on a saturday, they werent that bad or werent close so i kinda just ignored them, they continued thru sunday and of course got worse. By sunday afternoon i decided to go into L&D, they checked me and i was dialted to a 4 with contractions 5/7 minutes apart so they monited me for an hour and if i dialted more while in there i was genna be admitted but an hour later i was still at a 4 so they sent me home. At around 8 i went back again because they were just hurting so bad and i was in tears, i was still at a 4 and contractions were 2/3 minutes apart so they just sent me home again. I went for the third time at around 2am early monday morning, still dialted to a 4 and contractions 2 minutes apart, they sent me home with a shot of morphine to ease the contraction pain. I got home at like 4:30 and woke up around 6am to more entense contractions, i was cryiing like a baby. My poor bf was clueless on what to do cause i was being so bi-polar lol. I waited till 8am to call my doc and she told me to go in, we got to the doc office at 9, she checked me and i was dialted to a 6 while she was checking me my water started leaking so i was finally genna be admitted to L&D. We got there at like 11:30 and i got hooked up to everything. I got the epidual and it was not working so they gave it to me again, right before getting it the 2nd time the nurse checked me and i was at an 8. I got the epidual and about 10 minutes later my water broke, epidual was working & i was finally out of pain. Than i felt the urge to poop, pushed for 19 minutes and at 3:39pm i had my precious handsome babyboy, he was 7lbs even and born october 22nd. The contractions were totally killiing me and i hated the feeling but seeing my son was all worth it =)

It was 1:30am two days before my due date and I woke up to a lot of pressure down there. I took 2 baths and slept as much as I could. Woke the hubby at 8:30am and said its time to go...at the hospital the nurse checked me said I was at 5 cm, walked out of the room and than my water broke. I got my epidural soon after and pushed for 2hrs and welcomed our son at 3:12pm. I felt no pain whatsoever...I tore a little bit but nothing unbearable. I had a great labor and hoping #2 goes the same! Goodluck to you!! :)

Thats a great story and it sounds like ur delivery was easy :) so i kinda have an idea and thank you im 37w1d so they told me he can come wen his ready now

i was three days away from my due date and had just gone to see the doctor. he asked if i felt like i was gonna have it any day now, i said i didn't know, i felt the same as usual. we spend a lovely evening getting our garden ready. (i sat and watched my husband work that is) and we went to bed as usual. I woke up to go pee in the middle of the night (as per usual) and thought I had peed myself!! I didn't feel it but i did feel the wet floor. It took me a minute and I realized what was going on, I woke up my husband. He said "i guess i should get up then huh?" i said, "well, i think perhaps yes". We called l and d to tell them we were coming soon and they told us to go back to sleep!! good thing we didn't listen cause an hour later my contractions were 5 minutes apart and we were in l and d. A few short hours later my little man was born!
Everything was normal, i never had a major loss of plug cause i was constantly losing it for the last month. I had never had a cervix check and didn't know how effaced i was until delivery day. I had no major hints that he was coming except for having my water break when i got up. So it can happen completely out of the blue!
it was a wonderful experience, i had half a shot of morphine when i got there, didn't feel it!! then i had the air and then for the pushing part i had nothing so i felt everything.
in preparation for the delivery i drank red raspberry leaf tea three times a day for the last month and a bit. i also had my husband help me do perineum stretches the last month before delivery. i didn't tear and my contractions were strong.
