Im still working im 39w 2d I work 10+ hour days and am on my feet all day running around, but I choose to be... I manage and do hair at a salon so it makes me nervous not being there I like to know whats going on... But if deff ***** leaving work at the end of the day with cankles lol. If you can do it great if not dont push yourself I believe all you have to say is that you cant do it and your dr should understand.. Mine keeps asking me why im still working and telling me she will give me a note lol.

Is there anyway you could be put on some type of light duty work where you sit down or do a easier job where you are at so you can keep working. I am having a problem with the heat right now in Texas & walking across campus in 103+ weather I get so light headed & dizzy!! I'm asking my doctor if its good for me to b in the heat like that & walkin almost a mile in it

My doctor gave me a note stating i had no restrictions. She also told me if i think im being pushed to hard or im to exhausted that she would write me a new note with restrictions. I would talk to your doctor im sure she would rather you take an easy then risk over doing it.

The laws might differ from where you guys are, but in my province you don't need a doctor to sign off on your leave, you just need to give your employer two weeks notice so then can find someone to replace you while you are gone.

I'm a waitress and I'm 35+4 and I'm still working. My last two scheduled shifts are this weekend but I can still pick up shifts for extra cash if I need too. I would just tell your doctor your body can't really do it anymore and that your exhausted and need a break before the baby comes. They should understand
