The point of registration is to ensure that the hospital has space for you and that your room is available cause a lot of times labor and delivery is under staff during the baby booming season like sept thru January

A birth plan is a plan that you and your partner make up as to how you want the delivery to go do you want meds or not do you want partner to cut cord do you want to do skin to skin after baby comes out do you plan to breast feed stuff like that

I registered at 34 weeks! And the birth plan I think it's if you want to deliver naturally without an epidural

Start of third trim to register. As fir birth plan than has bugging to do with registering. That you want to type up and make several copies. You could go over it with doctor at an appt but they are not going tov want a physical copy till your admitted in the hospital in labor. Then you'll want a copy for you, doc, nurse and maybe an extra.
