You should work until you can if your feet hurt alot or you get so uncomfortable you should stop otger than that keep working till its almost time
I'm a cashier at a hardware store so I am standing and lifting things 24\7. Im 32 weeks and am taking my leave in 3 weeks because I'm starting to feel like my body can't take it anymore so deff listen to everyone. Your body WILL tell you when enough is enough.
I'm a waitress and I plan on working up til a week before. I would keep working up until the day I give birth but just want a little time off to get things settled. And hey usually better tips when ur pregnnt :)
I was a server full time until 2 weeks before my due date. although I ended up having my son 10 days late, so I wish I would've worked longer.
You will know when it is time for you to be done. If you are worried about the lifting alone I was told by a doctor that if you are used to it there shouldn't be a problem. I work in a daycare and am 29 weeks and I still lift the kids (I work the 2-3 year room) bit there are older kids that I still lift too (my nieces and nephews are 7-5 and I loft all of them) your body will tell you when enough is enough. Listen to it :)
I worked with a girl last year and she worked her entire pregnancy serving. Like literally up until the day she delivered. Everyone is different though, your body will tell you when enough is enough
See thats the thing. Im not on any paperwork. So honnestly they can hold me till I pop...
I work in retail and spend all day on my feet, bending down, climbing ladders. Im starting my maternity leave at 35wks (due to great timing) which is a wk earlier than originally planned out. Every company/country has different policies so just talk to your boss about reducing your hrs near the end and things like that
My feet always kill me. Afterwards. And it an alright job. Only one there that speaks any english
When you are pregnant you are not supposed to be lifting much at all
I don't see the problem in being a pregnant waitress. Are your feet an issue? Why leave your job sounds like a good job too?
