It mostly depends on how carefully you're treated. My father was diognised with Prostate cancer and we removed it with radical prostatectomy. I consulted with many doctors on this matter and most of them suggested to go with it because it has less risks than other methods.
Thank you for your response. After seeing several doctors that seems to be the best choice for me also...
Have you heard about HIFU? high intensity focused ultrasound. doctors rarely tell anyone about it (if they don't sell it), but it's in clinical trails in the USA, and it's been in use in Europe for 20 years. the trials are free.
There are many uro doctors in the USA who fly out of country every weekend and treat men, Mexico, Bahamas, Canada. I had it done nearly two years ago, it's the best decision I ever made, I've sent in several others, none had any troubles. It has a 96% cured at 5 year rate, zero incontinence and only a small temporary ED rate. It's a two hour non-invasive pain free procedure. It costs 25,000. and worth every penny, Blue Cross/Shield sometimes pays, but I don't know about any others, we paid out of pocket and didn't try to get insurance coverage.
google internationalHIFU.com or NYhifucenter.com ....there are lots of web sites about it.
