I recently did a ten day fast for a detox cleanse and now the gnats and tiny moths are no longer attracted to me. It's been four years of 24/7 torment from these insects "sticking" on me. The gnats in the day and the tiny moths at night. I just couldn't figure it out and the doctor's require research done by a qualified PhD team before they can provide an answer. Well here's the research and the answer from my own personal experience. After four years of using the process of elimination, it paid off. I used Organic India's Tulsi Cleanse Daily Liver & Kidney Support tea and it worked very well. I don't know if the fast was necessary and just the Tulsi Cleanse was sufficient or that the intensity of the fast was necessary to do a deep cleanse. You'll need to experiment with that. You might want to try the Tulsi Cleanse first and see how it goes and if that doesn't work do the fast. Arise & Shine has a safe 28 Day cleanse, with 24/7 support that will make the cleanse more enjoyable, but it is expensive. There is also Stanley Burroughs The Master Cleanse. I now enjoy an organically grown, sun ripened, living, whole food, plant based diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, germinated nuts, seeds and legumes that are properly combined for maximum digestion so the food does not stagnate in my stomach and ferment. This may or may not be part of the solution, however it is what I have done and the results are being insect free. Even the mosquitoes don't bother me anymore. Remember, these moths and gnats are foragers that are attracted to decaying plant matter, so it is likely that there is toxic waste and excessive bacteria in the body that is giving off an oder that is very attractive and these insects are just doing their job. Gnats pick up oder from two miles out and moths up to ten miles, which means you are trapped until that oder is ended. I checked the "Notify me of new activity on this question" box, so if there is new activity I will be able to respond if needed. Joyful day!
Fly attraction mystery solved
The problem has to do with a unique chemical in your body and a bacteria in the water you bathe in, drink and wash your food with.
I have been a severe attraction to various gnats, fruit flies and tiny moths for two years and have tried everything I could think of to no avail, until the idea of installing a UV light, with a 30 micron roped and 5 micron carbon filter, dawned on me and within two months the flies have disappeared and life is back to normal.
Hi,
I understand your concern regarding this and while flies may be irritating most of the time, there are many reasons why they can be attracted to an object including food, smell as well as movement. If this persist, it is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination is important. Take care and do keep us posted.
