metastasis or benign lymphoid hyperplasia

Is metastatic ca. a possibility after Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia diagnosis?
Posted by notmyself

Several month of malaise, widespread pain of different nature (sharp, dull, gnawing) and in ever changing locations (bones, organs, muscle). Enlarged lymph nodes in groin (two on left, one on rightfor at least 4 month). All of them are hard, fixed and non-tender. Biopsy of right inguinal node was performed. Diagnosis is Reactive Lymphoid Hyperplasia; no lymphoma is seen.

What does it mean and what are some of the causes of my swollen nodes? My PCP says results are good but  I read that reactive lymphoid hyperplasia does not rule out malignancy. what would my next step be?

Recent generalized itching ( two weeks). Slightly elevated AST and ALT. found small but palpable right supraclavicular node (presence confirmed by PCP). Was advised to monitor size.
I am very worried about my symptoms and am not sure where to go from here.

I am SOOO glad that you posted this.  Can I email you?  I just had this same "diagnosis" but wasn't told anything.  I have lost 10 pds now since Jan.  I want to know more of what you found out or where you went or what you did.  What is a PCP, AST and ALT?

Im not sure if you were tested for this or not...but have you ever been tested for Hepatitis.  Your symptoms may be indicative of that infection.  Or you may just drink a little too much and just be a little bit too "in tune" to your body.  But it is worth looking into...I pray your ok.
