MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS

I had a boyfriend once, we lasted for like over a year, he broke up with me because I always break up with him when I'm mad and when I realize how stupid I was I would tell him I was sorry and beg for him to come back. Yeah that last for like 5months and he finally ended it.
Now I have a boyfriend, and before we started I promised myself I wouldn't do the same thing. But I'm doing exactly the same thing! I don't know what wrong with me.
In my previous relationship, I harm myself every time we had a fight, which I also did tonight.
What should I do? Should I get help? I don't know what's happening to me.
Any advice?

I'd see a counselor, sure.  Self-harm is a sign that something is out of balance.

Hi, understand that there are 2 people in a relationship that come from different back grounds and life styles with different fears, hopes and attitudes on how to live life.
When people dont get their way they have tools to accomplish this and one that you use is breaking up. I would suggest to find a differnt tool to use as threating to leave is a last resort ment for really bad situations. Hurting your self is another tool but this is probably the least effective.
Just realize that the person in your relationship is not YOU but it is HIM.
