lol, well you can find some real bargains at Good Will.  But they are less of a bargain if they don't fit.  It always amazes me what people get rid of though!!

I love pens but they have to have blue ink.  My hubby only likes the black ink so we have a his and hers spot for them!! lol

I am also a freak with kitchen gadgets.  I cant walk past a store that has them.    Back in the day i was a bag hoarder!  I kept all the nice bags and had piles and piles of them.  My "darling" children gave me such a bad time about them as i never wanted to reuse them, they were mine!  It was just a few years ago that i was able to throw them away.  Wait until the little darlings realize i have moved onto bows!!!  lol

Only blue pens, domino?  You don't get tired of the same color?  What if you need to HIGHLIGHT
Well, hasn't MedHelp thrown me curve??? I accidentally hit my tab button and it submitted my post...anyway, as I was saying - what if you have "highlight" something when you're writing?  How do you do that?  I use a different colored pen if possible or when I'm on MH, I simply capitalize the word(s)...lol   Wouldn't it be something if we had the option to italicize, underline or use different colors when we write something?

I used to have a certain kind of report for my job and was only allowed to use black ink - so boring.  I was good (and fast) at the reports, so operators asked me to do their reports, too... I got SO tired of black ink by the time I was done doing the 100+ reports every month... I was happy to have a variety of colors with which to take messages, etc.  Since I did admin work, also, I'd sometimes designate a different color for each person I was taking messages for, or each project, etc.  Anything to brighten the job and create some diversity...  :-)

I have a collection of those nice bags I get from different stores, too - it's not very large though, as I do force myself to use them... Some of them fit nicely inside my trash bag so I use them for garbage bags and others are good and sturdy so I use them for reusable grocery bags or if I need to carry things, etc.  I have one really large beautiful one that came from Holland - I've had it for about 30 yrs and I don't think I'll be using or getting rid of it any time soon, though...

Christmas decorations.  Our storage area where it is boxed is overflowing and I buy more.  I love that shiiiiiii.  (I tried other words there but honestly, I try not to cuss but nothing else really fit the mood).  My mom had a Santa collection and maybe that is where it started.  Books are another bad one for me.  Truthfully, I would never have to leave my house again and could spend the rest of my living years just reading what I have.  But I REALLY like books.  My older son has the bug but he is really specific and likes DC Comics graphic novels.  LOL  He researches and has a collection that will probably be worth money some day!  Okay, probably not.  lol  But it's a bit of a passion for him so we go with it.  I just like anything and everything from fun reads, to illustrated encyclopedia type books, to self improvement, to poetry.  Love it all. Have it all.  Give a ton away all the time.  But get more.  Half priced books and our church has a penny book store.  I go in with a dollar and come out with book clutter.  It's bad.

Yeah - books, books and more books... I used to have a virtual library of my own, but I got rid of most of them; now I only have a few boxes of my favorites that I'm going to read over again... Well, okay - I have those boxes, plus a few stacks sitting around the house; oh and I just noticed that basket sitting by my chair in the living room.  It's got some gems that I'm going to read one of these days...  I bought a few of the classics we had to read in high school that I "hated" then, but find them quite interesting now. My husband even brought me a book of Shakespear from England when he was there some years ago...
Sometimes I think my small brain believes that owning books will make me smart.  Ha, not happened yet.
My small brain believes owning books on how to downsize and clear out clutter will magically make me have a clean house. My fear is that I will die with a cluttered house and someone will find my five or six books on how to unclutter a house and tell everyone what an idiot I was.
ha ha,

I 'somehow' think that having a lot of cook books will equate to my being a fabulous cook putting 4 course meals on the table every night for dinner by 6!  Reality?  Taco Tuesday tonight.

Ha, marshmallows!  Wouldn't have guessed.  I love 'em too.  And tye dyed . . .   do you ever make your own?  We did it with the kids.  Oh my oh my.  There hands were multi colored after and I was afraid for my washing machine.  But it all worked out in the end.  :>)

Gotta love shoes. It's kind of a wonder that my husband is not disgusted with me, he has to share the closet.

After 50 yrs, my husband just shakes his head and say's "yeah, I thought you needed another pair of shoes..."  lol  I do have my own closet and he has his, but I have shoes all over - 4 pairs sitting beside me as I sit at the computer (including the black clogs); gotta have some handy to slip on in case of emergency, you know. Oh wait - maybe I'm just too lazy to put them away...   Hahaha

Ummm yeah...I think I'm related to Imelda.  :-)  I have shoes still in the boxes.  I give all my stuff to the Hospice Thrift Store and the last time I cleaned out my closet, I took 8-10 pairs and, at least 5 of them were still in the boxes, some never worn.  I still have plenty taking up space in my closet and was thinking the other day that I need to go get a pair of casual sandals for summer...

I  was going to mention that pair of black clogs I wear all the time (lol), but they'll soon be replaced with the new black sandals I'm going to buy as soon as I get a chance to go shopping for them...  :-)  :-) :-)

Oh, dear, you hit a nerve there, Barb. I was just cleaning out my closet yesterday. Imelda Marcos would be proud. I gave five pairs to the Goodwill and it still looks like I wear a different pair every day of the year. (That's the irony -- I wear the same pair of black clogs over and over, and the rest just sit, looking cute.)

I have Quake in this black/white and calf version and their irridescent teal and black version. Oooh, shoes.

I missed this before... wow - those are the shoes.  My feet would love those, even if my pocketbook wouldn't like the price, though I've paid more for less.  lol
Got them remaindered, on eBay, for $29.99. I had sulked at them on Zappos for a year before I wondered if any extras were out there in retail-remainders land, and looked on eBay. Cannot be more pleased with them. I don't wear them often, but they ALWAYS look great and get compliments.
Wow, iridescent teal!  Impressive!!  The shoes on the link are very cute!  I'm also impressed you were cleaning out your closet . . . it's on the list.
I was afraid my husband was working up to a divorce over my indifferent-to-housework ways. I took a lot of clothes out and set them on the bed, then went to work on the shoes and the dust mice, and began to sort the clothes, only putting back the ones I thought still worked. And then my husband came in and acted hurt because it was 8 pm and he wanted to go to sleep, so I hung everything back up without continuing to sort. It's hard to clean in the time available! But at least the dust mice are all vacuumed out of the back of the floor.

I have more shoes than I should have and I also have trouble resisting ink pens and pencils...

That's just a couple of my vices.  :-)

Ink pens and pencils.  Interesting.  Do you collect them or are you talking that you always buy new packs of them?  And shoes.  Well, ya,  we are women.  Although, I must be honest, my shoe fetish got significantly less when A. I had my kids and my feet grew a full size bigger and all may cute shoes had to be given away and B. my feet aged and NOW they want sneakers or croc's only.  When I have to go to a wedding and wear heals, you should see me hobble.  And I, no joke, at our nephew's wedding last year actually kicked off by accident my shoe when I was walking to the front of the church for communion..  I will never be asked to model and walk a runway, that's for sure. But I have a LOT of choices of shoes . . .   and keep buying them.  :>)
"Ink pens and pencils.  Interesting.  Do you collect them or are you talking that you always buy new packs of them?"  I, mostly, use them... I've always been an aspiring writer... yeah, really, though I'm not that good.  I keep a journal and I even write the occasional letters, I do a lot of doodling, etc.  There are, typically, certain types of pens/pencils I like though and sometimes I buy a pack that turns out not to be a favorite - either I don't like the way they write or they don't feel right in my hand, etc.  I also do word find puzzles and for those, I use a special type of colored, fine point pens.  I'm very particular about my writing utensils.  Oh, did I mention that I color - adult coloring books; I mostly use colored pencils and/or gel pens for those, but those are a different story altogether...

Shoes?  That conversation is below. lol  I very rarely wear sneakers or croc-type shoes unless I'm walking or working in the yard, but I did forget to mention that I have peripheral neuropathy quite badly and many of my pairs of shoes were purchased with the hope of easing that pain in mind.  Unfortunately, it often doesn't work, which accounts for some of my unworn shoes, but I keep trying because I do prefer a more stylish look than sneakers/crocs.

Really?  You stepped out of your shoe on the way to communion?  I bet that was a sight to behold; I wonder if anyone got it on video.  I'm sure they would have if it had been me.  lol
