Suggestions

hey im taking my girlfriend to a nice quiet retreat for the weekend. i need some help as what i could do to make the trip nicer. were going to dinner. and when we get there i plan on having rose pedals all over the bed with a heart shape made of rose pedels. in addition to that there will be a bottle of the finest wine i can afford chilled on ice waiting for us. im also buying her a nice gift.

i would like suggestions on how i could make this situation nicer/better.

Look at her with love in your eyes,  and hold her hand,  and listen to her.  That's way more better than rose petals shaped in the form of a heart.

Rose petals are always great, but add some candles - particularly votives so you don't have to worry about spilled wax or fires.  ;-)  Other than that, you know your girlfriend better than anyone on the internet.  What are her tastes?  What kind of music does she like?  Would background music help or hinder?  How nice of of you to do this for her.  :-)
