Was at a party and interested in this girl

I was at a gathering this evening. It was my aunts side of the family that was there, as in she's my aunt by marriage, so anyone in her family is not related to me. My aunt has some nieces my age that i find attractive. But when at the party, they never seem interested in me. People told me im not ugly, but those girls dont approach me. Im affraid to ask my aunt an uncle if one of their nieces was single, they might thing im weird or something. Problem is...this one girl i saw tonight is super good looking and maybe out of my league. is it fair to say that if a girl is really good looking, then a average guy like me dosent have a chance with her? I always seem to think girls like that wouldnt go for me, what do u think?

A friendly, warm guy who is interested in what a woman has to say is a lot of fun, and gets all the girls.  

Please just be sure that you don't only want to hang with her because of her beauty.  It is tiresome to a beautiful women to be approached only because of her exterior appearance.

Incidentally, so what if the girls don't approach you.  Even in this day and age of equality in social relationships, the ladies still like the man to step up and say, "Hello, my name is Jim.  Are you Maggie's niece?"  Stop pussyfooting around, and a straightforward relationship will be possible.

The older I get the more I realize attraction isn't based merely on looks. An attractive person is someone who is healthy, confident, and intelligent. If you want her, go for it. If she decides she's not interested then don't take it personally. I wouldn't consider someone out of your league just because they are pretty!
