Bronchitis.

Hi,

So from a very early age I was diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis.

I recently have turned out far worse than expected and I had been given antibiotics for 5 days at 500mg. I have also been given the blue inhaler. However I have finished my medication and still coughing a lot and had a fever at 37.5 (Which is warm for me, I tend to be 36.7) and today for the first time in a long time I noticed I could not breath, felt like my throat was blocked off. I am constantly coughing and it is driving me insane, I cannot sleep as it wakes me up and my throat is so sore.

Does anybody know what my GP should do next? Or what you would personally do?

I'd take cough medicine from time to time to ease out the coughing. Also I'd go see a pulmonary specialist. I'd also avoid smoking or places filled with smoke.
