I have been feeling this way for about a week now, it is so annoying! Im a 15 year old girl and all the things I have read on google about this are usually people in their late 20s or 30s so im wondering of something is serioulsy wrong. I feel like i cant get a good satisfying breath in and when i realize i cant i keep trying but still nothing.
Thank god I found your comment. I have had terrible problems with nerve issues ranging from sweats at night, right quadrant pain and burning, to the same breathing issues so many seems to mention...... I went to a chiropractor. Amazing..... My spine has been locked for months and finally she managed to "pop" it. Not immediately and not all at once..... But the first time I physically cried. The release was that power. Thank you truly so much. I was desperate.
Have a question for folks with this ailment, as I myself have been plagued by it (started out of the blue). Have any of you investigated how caffeine plays a role (or lack thereof)? Caffeine absolutely changes your breathing patterns, and might make some sense as to why your body is suddenly not used to as much oxygen when you stop drinking it. Might be oversimplified to think it can be something so simple, but has anyone seen any relation to this?
I have had this for some years now. It comes and goes and lasts from between 2weeks to a month plus. Through all this attack, no solution had ever been found as all medical test yield nothing. I only live through the trauma till the condition stops. One thing is certain, which is that this condition is beyond medicine. I dont want to bore you with long stories, but to tell you that I found a solution. I recently had another traumatic onset and it was so bad it was affecting my job output and relationships. Tried so many things without success until I hit it. I found a remedy that works perfectly without the need for any breathing therapy. Funny enough this is something that is so easily available, yet we dont know its potency. It might even sound so stupid when mentioned, but I promise you will be marvelled at its effectiveness. Send a mail to me on ***@**** and I will give u this recipe. I promise I will not be a waste of time.
I'm 63 years old and have this symptom on an ongoing basis......more often at night whe I'm home from work or just before going to sleep. I'm certain it's nerves...even though I don't feel anxious. The more I focus on it the more frequently I need to try to take the deep breaths. Funny....not an issue when I'm asleep. I remember telling this to the doctor when I was 8 or 9 years old and he said it sounded like nerves. What the hell was I supposed to do with thatresponse? Anyway...had this going on most all my life and when my mind is not on it, it's not an issue. Hasn't killed me yet. I'm convinced it's a mind over matter thing.....yet I still do it. Oh well.
I'm so relieved to see that so many folks out there suffer from the same symptoms I do. For the past several weeks I've been having this demonic urge to breath deeply or yawn every so often. Most of the time they wouldn't work, and I'd feel like I need to keep yawning and breathing deeply to satisfy the craving for oxygen. I really started to get anxious about this, when I saw this thread, and decided to try to apply the breathing method that was repeatedly recommended - shallow, slow inhaling through the nose, exhaling through a pursed mouth. After several minutes of concentrating on this, the urge to take deep breaths has lessened tremendously. Yawing stopped completely. I still do have the urge to take a deep breath once in a while, but it is much less frequent, and it is always satisfactory.
Hope this helps .
Daniel
