Constant flem/ snot stuck in my throat

I really need some answers! Or someone to help me at least.. I keep getting flem/snot whatever you want to call it stuck in my throat, I try to swallow it but it’s just stuck there and continues to happen nothing I do clears it. It’s driving me insane. I get sinus problems at least once a month, they just ache and I’m constantly blowing my nose. At the moment I have no aching sinuses as such or a blocked nose just this stuff running down the back of my throat and not going away. The Dr just treats it as sinusitis.
