Mycoplasma or other ncngu ?

Hi everyone,

I am gay and I have the same exclusive partner for 3 months now. I started to feel some discomfort 2 weeks ago in the urethra. Few days later, I started to have some clear/watery discharge, especially in the morning.

We have been both diagnosed NEGATIVE for all common std, including chlamydia and gonorrhea. My partner doesn't present symptoms. We both took azithromycin 1g single dose, but a week later I still experience some penile discharge (maybe less though) and subtle urethra discomfort.

I started doxycycline 200mg for 10 days yesterday, hopefully this will resorb the problem. I also passed tests for mycoplasma/ureaplama, but results will only show up in 2 weeks... I read there are up to 50% of ncngu that are idiopatic (no obivous bateries found). I am clueless and feel a lot of anxiety. Every advice and tertimony would be helpful.

Thanks !

Hi, symptoms of a urethra infection would be white puss and burning while urinating. Clear would be considered normal or the onstart of an infection where the body creates more mucus to sooth inflamed areas. The white puss would appear about a week after exposure. Sounds more like you have an injury inside your urethra not an infection.

Hi dear, thanks a lot for your soothing words, I really appreciate it.

I maybe had a very little whitish shade through few drops at the very beginning, but I would say it's mostly watery and transparent at 95% of the time. Sometimes in the morning, the little drop I have is half-way between water and precum texture, but transparent.

Excuse me for the terms, but could it be caused by rough anal/oral sex when I top, since you mentionned it might be a simple injury ?

Thanks again !
