What precautions can I take against my roommate's HPV?

My roommate has genital warts, and we'll be sharing a bathroom. He's very kind and I don't want to hurt his feelings by seeming overcautious. I absolutely want to protect myself, but I also wish to be reasonable about it. What sort of things should I do in daily living? Thank you very much.

Totally agree.

If you aren't having sexual contact with your roommate, you won't get it from him.

Hi since HPV its contracted by rubbing skin to skin, avoid sexual contact. Its not passed by towels or toilet seats or any other things like that.
