Do I have pharyngeal gonorrhea?

Friday (7 days ago) I had oral sex with a partner I presumed to be STD free. I got wet in the rain on Monday. On Tuesday I started having a sore throat. It has gotten worse and my tonsils are swollen. There is also white deposits on my tonsils. My throat has mucus and it feels as if my sinus is draining. I feel stuffy at times as well. Could this be pharyngeal gonorrhea?

sounds like you have an upper respiratory infection, not oral gonorrhea.   be seen and get tested for strep throat today. they can also swab you for chlamydia and gonorrhea orally too at that time if you need peace of mind.

we always recommend protected oral sex - both giving and receiving. don't be naive about a partner's status and protect yourself!!!
