Can I accidentally pass Chlamydia to my child plzzz help

So recently I find out I tested negative for std hiv, everything else but Chlamydia . My boyfriend  passed it to me . But I want ensure it’s not possible  to pass Chlamydia to my child . I want to make sure I’m super carful when handling the situation. Can infection be passed through rags or towels?. Or can pass by change a diaper without washing my hands . Can be passed if my child has cut on his finger touch something like a used towels or will infection get on him. Can pass infection to my child if I don’t wash my hands and touch him on face . I’m worried and don’t know what to do . What are ways this infection can pass along to another. I never had before so i don’t know

While you can spread it from your hands to your eyes, it is highly unlikely that you'd spread it from your hands to your kids' eyes unless your hands are going directly from your genitals to their eyes.

You won't transmit it to their genitals unless you are having inappropriate sexual contact with them.

Were you tested during pregnancy? If you were, and you're positive now, that means your boyfriend has had a new partner since. That's definitely something you need to think about. He's having other partners without protection.

Hi, and Sorry you got Chlamydia.  Both you and your boyfriend need to get treated or you will keep getting it. In the meantime you need to wash your hands well every time you use the bathroom or touch you or your boyfriends genital area. It can be passed from hands, and genitals to eyes (which can cause blindness) and genitals of your kids. If you both have been treated then you need to both test negative after finishing the antibiotics.  Hope this helps.

As a additional comment it is not likely you would spread Chlamydia to your kids via hands to genitals. As I mentioned eyes being a "possible " way to to spread it from yourself to kids eyes. But you would have to probably be direct contact from the genital tract or possibly urine directly into the eye. I agree giving it to a child's genital tract wouldn't be as likely unless there was sexual abuse.
